Redecoration of Various Buildings at RAAF Townsville

May 2022 – December 2022 

SHP Construction & Civil carried out the complete redecoration of five buildings located at the RAAF Base Townsville, involving necessary repairs and various replacements of damaged or dilapidated features.  

SHP oversaw the conversion of a disused plant room into a secure maintenance and storage facility, the construction of a ramp for equipment access, and the installation of a brand-new roof to one of the buildings. SHP completed patching and painting of the exterior and interior of the buildings, including rust treatment where necessary.  

This project also included the replacement of wall and skirting tiles, toilets and basins in the male ablutions and the supply and installation of a Hydrotap feature in the lunchroom. SHP also carried out the repairment of roof leakages and internal water damage and also installed possum proofing where required.
