SHP Construction & Civil carried out construction of a new block building for the relocation of a kiln and clay rolling press, including construction of a covered walkway between the new building and the existing Art Block. This project also involved the demolition of the existing exhaust and ductwork and supply and installation of a new kiln exhaust system. Redundant electrical circuits were decommissioned and new lighting and electrical were installed. The block wall on the existing Art Block was demolished and a new door installed to provide access to the new art kiln building and the surrounding area reinstated to pre-construction condition. SHP also constructed powder-coated aluminium slat fencing to enclose the walkway between the new kiln building and the existing art room, including the installation of a gate and gate hardware.
